Drones have become a common sight and, for some of you, a part of your regular life. DJI has earned a reputation for making some of the best drones out there, with several lineups aimed at both casual users and enthusiasts. The company’s Mini series of drones have been a popular option for years, as an option for a compact drone that covers all the basics, and now the latest DJI Mini 4 Pro is finally here.

DJI has just unveiled the DJI Mini 4 Pro, its best tiny drone to date. Weighing under 249 grams, the Mini 4 Pro is fairly compact, and yet, it manages to pack very advanced imaging capabilities, featuring a 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor, a 48MP image resolution, 4K/60fps HDR video, and Slo-Mo shooting at 4K/100fps. The drone also excels in low-light conditions thanks to 2.4μm pixels and enhanced noise reduction.

The Mini 4 Pro is equipped with omni-directional obstacle sensing and Advanced Pilot Assistance Systems (APAS) for enhanced safety during flight, offering automatic braking and obstacle bypass. It provides up to 34 minutes of flight time, extendable to an impressive 45 minutes with the Intelligent Flight Battery Plus battery pack. The DJI O4 video transmission technology allows for ultra-responsive control and smooth 1080p/60fps FHD video transmission over distances of up to 20 km. The drone also comes with features like True Vertical Shooting, digital video zoom, and professional-grade post-production control with 10-bit D-Log M recording. It also offers a lot of different shooting modes, including MasterShots, QuickShots, Hyperlapse, Panorama, and more, so this little drone definitely punches above its weight as far as versatilty goes.

Innovative accessories like the Wide-Angle Lens, ND Filters Set, and 360° Propeller Guard are available to enhance performance, like with all other DJI drones. The launch also introduces the new SkyPixel platform, designed to elevate your aerial photography experience with a database of fly spots and expert fly tips, fostering a global community of drone enthusiasts.

The drone starts at $759, with prices going up to $1,159 depending on how many accessories and extras you want with it. It’ll ship starting today, and you can get it from DJI’s website and other retail stores.
